Sail in Finland covers all aspects of sailing and boating in Finland but with a special emphasis on sailing in the Baltic coastal waters and in particular in the Archipelago sea. Most general information is however applicable in all parts of the county and to power boaters as well.

You can follow Sail in Finland in many ways. The primary site will be this blog, sifdev2.demo.site, where all the more in-depth articles will be published. Sail in Finland is also on Facebook, Twitter and Youtube. If you want to, you can use Facebook as your “Sail in Finland” bookmark. To do that, just “Like” Sail in Finland on Facebook in the right hand column of the site! New articles and also some news-like information will be posted on Facebook. On Facebook, Sail in Finland typically posts no more than once per day, though there might be some exceptions. New information will also be announced on Twitter. In addition, Sail in Finland shares (retweets) news-like and other information of immediate interest on Twitter. The site is maintained by marine journalist and photographer Håkan Mitts. Håkan has been boating in the Finnish archipelago for all his life, the last 30 years skippering his own sailing boat.
